Dear Parents,

As we approach the end of the season, we only have two meets left. This Saturday, we are hosting a home meet against Urbana, and we are in great need of volunteers to help make it a success.

We know many of you have already contributed your time, and we are truly grateful. Each swimmer is required to fulfill 20 volunteer points, but we still need additional support to cover key roles—especially as several of our regular volunteers will not be available this weekend.

We want to assure you that all volunteer positions are simple and easy to learn. The only role that requires official training is Stroke & Turn Official, and even that is not difficult to pick up. For all other positions, we will train you on the spot and walk you through what’s needed. If you have any questions about the roles or need help deciding where to volunteer, please reach out to Viridiana or any other board member—we’re happy to help!

At the end of the season, we will recognize the families who have generously given their time. Your support means a lot to us, and we appreciate everything you do.

Please take a moment to visit the volunteer schedule, go to the Urbana meet, and sign up as soon as possible. Your help makes a huge difference—we truly cannot run these meets without you.

Asunto: ¡Necesitamos voluntarios para nuestros últimos encuentros en casa! ¡Te capacitamos!

Queridos padres,

A medida que nos acercamos al final de la temporada, solo nos quedan dos encuentros. Este sábado tendremos nuestro encuentro en casa contra Urbana, y necesitamos muchos voluntarios para que sea un éxito.

Sabemos que muchos ya han ayudado y se los agradecemos muchísimo. Cada nadador debe cumplir con 20 puntos de voluntariado, pero aún necesitamos más apoyo para cubrir varios roles importantes, especialmente porque algunos de nuestros voluntarios principales no podrán asistir este fin de semana.

Queremos asegurarles que la mayoría de las posiciones son muy sencillas y fáciles de aprender. La única posición que requiere capacitación oficial es la de Juez de Estilo (Stroke & Turn Official), y también es fácil de entender. Para los demás puestos, nosotros les enseñamos en el momento y les explicamos qué hacer paso a paso.

Si tienen dudas o preguntas sobre alguna posición o no saben dónde ayudar, por favor hablen con Viridiana o con cualquier otro miembro de la junta. ¡Estamos aquí para apoyarles!

Al final de la temporada, reconoceremos a las familias que han dedicado su tiempo y esfuerzo. Su apoyo es muy valioso y realmente no podemos hacer esto sin ustedes.
