  • When you arrive, follow any posted signage or parking instructions.

    Parking:

    Please help us stay in compliance with parking rules. Follow these guidelines: We Park in the back side of the parking lot of Splashdown. We will reserve parking for the Computer rep, Head Official, and Head Coach.

  • Avoid parking in areas marked with “No Parking” signs or reserved.
  • Parking is allowed only on the designated areas don’t park on grass.
  • Handicapped parking spaces are available in the parking lot.
  • Do not remove cones from parking areas—some spots are reserved for meet logistics.
  • Please be cautious and watch for children crossing streets.
  • Special Needs:

    Ben Lomond Swim Team is committed to supporting all swimmers and ensuring an inclusive environment. If you or your swimmers need accommodations, please reach out so we can assist.

    Safety:

    Lifeguards will be on duty for water and pool deck safety. First aid will be available at the designated station near the restrooms.

    Entries:

    All entries and team record files must be submitted to our Computer Rep by 8 PM the Thursday prior to the meet. Ensure email is sent to Jennifer Edney and Heather Hall once entries are fully completed and your team is ready to merge.

    Heat Sheets:

  • An electronic copy will be available in our website.
  • Hard copies will be available for Officials and Coaches. 

  • Concessions: 

    Concessions will be available throughout the meet, offering both breakfast items and lunch options, Burgers, hotdogs, cup noodles and more. We prefer cash payment, but we will have Cash App and Zelle available for payment. 

    Announcements:

    A meet announcer will provide updates on event timing, volunteer assignments, and results. Special events or birthday announcements can be submitted to the announcer.

    Volunteers

    We typically have two volunteer shifts:

    First shift: Until the end of Event 37 (~7:00 AM – 9:30 AM)

    Second shift: From Event 38 to the end of the meet (~9:30 AM – 11:45 AM)

    Visiting Team Volunteer Requirements

  • Clerk of Course: 2 per shift
  • Scorers: 2 per shift
  • Runners: 2 per shift
  • Verifiers: 1-2 per shift
  • Officials: (1 Referee, 1 Starter, 3-5 Stroke & Turn for the entire meet)
  • Head Timer: 1 per shift
  • Timers: 9 per shift - 1 timer per lane in lanes 1, 3 and 5 / 2 timers per lane in lanes 2, 4 and 6. 
  • Recorders: 3 recorders per shift (Lanes 1, 3 and 5)
  • Ribbons: 1 for the entire meet
  • Computer Rep: 1 per shift
  • Volunteer Coordinator will be available for any questions or concerns throughout the meet.

    Equipment to Bring:

    Per PWSL regulations, visiting teams should bring:

    • Starting system as a backup
  • Officials should meet at 6:30 AM at the Clerk of Course area (benches).Meet participants should remember that deck officials ensure fair competition. Coaches should address any concerns (results, disqualifications, times, awards) with the Head Referee. 
  • Stopwatches (for timers)
  • Backup computer equipment (computer and printer)

  • Deck Area:

    There is limited space for “camping” and spectating. Please avoid blocking walkways, stairs, or access ramps.

    Coaches Area:

    Each visiting team will have four (4) chairs set up on deck. Teams may also bring a Tent for their team. 

    Pool & General Info:

  • 6 lanes, 25m pool
  • Backstroke flags are positioned at the standard 5-meter mark.
  • No fly-over starts will be used at this meet.
  • Please listen for event number calls to ensure smooth Clerk of Course operations.
