Hi! I’m Coach Lauren, coaching the Ben Lomond swim team is a nostalgic experience, having once competed in these same lanes, it’s meaningful to now guide a new generation, including my son, as they develop both in and out of the pool. I’m passionate about helping swimmers grow in confidence, overcome obstacles, and push beyond their limits to achieve their personal and competitive goals. Seeing their progress and knowing I can contribute to their growth as athletes and individuals is fulfilling and I'm excited to see what this seasons brings!
This is my first year coaching with BLST, but my connection to the team goes way back. I was a swimmer for BLST as a kid! When my own children were old enough and excited to join, it felt like the perfect time to come back. I first got involved as the BLST Secretary, and now I’m thrilled to be on deck as Head Coach, helping create the same fun, supportive, and family focused environment that I loved growing up. I can’t wait to watch our swimmers grow in their confidence and skills this summer! Outside of the pool, I’m a busy mom of three and an active member of our school’s PTO board. I’m truly passionate about building strong communities where kids feel encouraged, empowered, and proud of what they can do.
Hi everyone! I am Coach Audrey, and I have been coaching with the Ducks for about five years, and I have been a Duck since I was four years old. I grew up on the team, so I am so excited to be back this summer! I am a second-year student at the University of Virginia, studying Leadership and Public Policy and Global Studies (Environments and Sustainability).
My coaching has always been focused on building the swimmers’ confidence in the pool, recognizing that the first step to aiding the children in the pool is helping them feel in the water, and like they could definitely do anything that they want to do. In past summers I have also been a lifeguard with CPR/First-Aid Training and a Nanny.
I am looking forward to having a fun and enriching season with my Duck Family! Go Ducks!
